Atlantic County Information
Atlantic County Criminal Defense AttorneysAtlantic County is an interesting place to practice for a criminal defense attorney. Atlantic City enjoys over 30 million visitors each year, most of which come from across the north-eastern United States. While most people have a good time with no problems, a fraction of these millions of people wind up facing a wide variety of criminal issues from simple assault to gambling crimes to prostitution. Thus, this creates a unique situation where many criminal defendants may not live in Atlantic County and may have no criminal record. Regardless of where you live, our team of tough, smart criminal defense attorneys can represent you in any court in Atlantic County or New Jersey. For the most part, Atlantic County's crime statistics are unremarkable when the residential and visitor population as well as the econmocis of the region are taken into account. However, there are a few areas that stand out. It should be no surprise that Atlantic County had the most gambling crimes arrests in 2006 at 184. Atlantic County also had the second highest arrests for prostitution related offenses at 184. Atlantic County Court InformationThere are two court houses in Atlantic County.
