-Initial Consultation

Our initial consultations are always free. Call us today for an appointment at our Eatontown office or one of our other three locations in New Jersey. Regardless of whether you want to file a a Complaint for Divorce or you an Answer to a Complaint that has been filed against you, our attorneys will be there to listen to you so we can understand all of the issues that are important to you and your case. -Costs

The Divorce Complaint also lists the relief sought by the party filing for the divorce.

A Case Management Conference is usually the first court appearance in a divorce case. In Monmouth County, this court date is usually used by the attorneys discuss the matter with each other as well as the judge. The judges in Monmouth County make themselves available to meet with the attorneys in chambers. While the judges never attempt to force a settlement on either side, their wisdom and objectivity are often helpful in breaking logjams and crafting settlement agreements.

-Discovery

In a divorce case, each party enjoys the opportunity to ask written questions of the other party and ask for documents to be produced. While each side can take depositions of the other party and witnesses, this is not used is most cases.
